Chris Burden
Chris Burden was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1946. Soon thereafter, his family moved to California. The early seventies, the period when Chris Burden produced his first mature works, was characterized by the idea that the truly important, viable art of the future would not be with objects, things that you could simply sell and hang on your wall. Art, instead, would address political, social, environmental and technological change. Earth, performance, body, video, computer, narrative and conceptual art became the new mediums. Burden, with his shockingly simple, unforgettable, "here and now" performances shook the conventional art world and took this new art form to its extreme.
Check out more of his work.

Sexy Times
So one day, me and Sal found out you can do something very special in Second Life.
Here is the video.
Second Life trys to offer a very realistic experience from gambling, watching movies, buying art and even prostitution.
This is all based on a economy that is based off of the US currency.
Some people dont have real world jobs, only second life jobs. Life is weird
Second Life
This is my Second Life character. His name is Denis Slingshot.
And yes, he does look like a dragon. n_n
This virtual game is really expansive and realistically crazy.
You can interact with other people, buy items, go to tourist attractions, and even make real dollars.
From the start you get to customize your character with body size, features and clothing.
My character is obviously a little bit different, but i think it shows my personality well.
Once you start exploring the vast world you will realize why people can get trapped in this second life.
